Our History:

In 1967, Marvin and Lois Dyer moved to Longmont, CO with their two children. Marvin worked as a loan officer until 1988 when he became a real estate broker. That year, they founded both Dyer Realty, Inc. and a Hallmark Store in the 400 block of Main Street. Having worked on many agricultural loans while at the bank, naturally, he continued to work with acreages, water brokerage, estate sale transactions, farm sales, and assisted in the conversion of farmland along developing corridors (Hwy 119 between Del Camino & Longmont, I-25 near Frederick) into business district parks.

In 1994, both Marvin’s daughter, Deanna, and his wife, Lois, became licensed real estate brokers with Dyer Realty, Inc. Four years later, the family decided to close the Hallmark Store to focus on their Colorado real estate business.

Longmont Realtors like Marvin worked tirelessly, almost until the day he passed in March of 2018. Although Marvin is missed daily, Deanna and Lois Dyer have continued on with residential, land, and commercial use property listings.
